Aijek is an independent womenswear brand rooted in a love of contemporary design, heritage craft and the beauty of things made by hand.

We reinterpret artisanal techniques for the modern wardrobe, creating pieces defined by intricate embroidery, carefree silhouettes and thoughtful, expressive details.

Each collection celebrates the skill of the makers behind it, while bringing traditional craftsmanship into a new context.

Born in Shanghai and designed between Singapore and Bali, Aijek has always been shaped by different places, cultures and ways of seeing the world.

We create for women who share that same sense of curiosity—who find beauty in discovery, appreciate the human touch, and choose pieces with stories to tell.

Our Design

Made to be worn and treasured, every Aijek piece carries a story of its origins—of history, people and nature.

Producing in small batches, we create in partnership with skilled artisans and family-owned workshops.

We honour clothing made by human hands, which gives each design its own special character—no two pieces are alike.
Our Inspiration

Nature is one of our greatest sources of inspiration, and we aim to protect it.

Our designs prioritise 100% plant-based fibres, material and trims that can eventually return to the soil.

We also use lower-impact dyes and printing processes that are gentler on both fabric and the environment.

Our Founder

Danelle Woo founded Aijek in Shanghai in 2010, with a vision to create timeless womenswear defined by intricate detail, rich texture and contemporary design.

Having lived across Sydney, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou, her experience across cities and cultures shaped an approach to dressing that is versatile, considered and made to move with the modern woman.

With Aijek’s return in 2026, Danelle brings a renewed vision to the brand, working closely with skilled artisans and family-owned workshops to bring heritage craftsmanship into contemporary silhouettes.
